Youth

Mental Health Services

About Program

Inspiring Futures offers individualized mental health services. These sessions are with or under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). The sessions are conducted with an empowerment focus and align with the seven core issues in adoption and permanency. The sessions are flexible in that they can be conducted in-person at a location that the youth is comfortable with or virtual at a time convenient for the youth. All providers complete the 25-hour National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training for Mental Health Professionals. The sessions focus on youth’s voice and choice and can incorporate other adults in the student’s life as appropriate. In the future group sessions will be offered as well.
