Inspiring Futures is based on research, including surveys and interviews with over 500 youth and young adults with foster care experience who were in or graduated from college, approximately 10 caregivers, and 20 social service personnel. Outcomes are important to us, including reach and results. We collect metrics on the effectiveness of Inspiring Futures programs, including the number of youth and young adults enrolled, the number and percent who persist to the next year in school, the number and percent who graduate high school and college, as well as the perspectives of the participants about their experiences.
