✨As the holiday season is rapidly approaching, Inspiring Futures reflects back on this year and has so much to be grateful for. This organization started as an idea back in February, which has been able to come to life thanks to such amazing partners and supporters like you. We are grateful for our fiscal sponsor Mosholu Montefiore Community Center, our community and higher education partners, and our diligent and caring staff and board members. We are also grateful to Fordham University for working with us on the New York State Incorporation and COOP Careers for partnering with us to develop our social media.
As a result of your support, Inspiring Futures began working with students with a history of or current involvement in foster care, and has been able to pair each student with an educational specialist and a mental health counselor to help guide them and empower them in their journeys. We have been able to help problem solve and connect them to resources in the areas of finances, housing, health, and applying for college.
